Managing Partner

Ryan is responsible for the oversight and execution of Morgan Stonehill's development platform. He comes from a lineage of developers and contractors, together they have changed landscapes from coast to coast.

Prior to founding Morgan Stonehill, Ryan founded Highline Property Group and led the execution of multiple multifamily development projects in Colorado, North Carolina, California, and Illinois. With an innate passion for entrepreneurship, Ryan started his first business while in grade school and in 2015 founded an award-winning distillery in Colorado.

He attended the University of Southern California and has lived and worked in every time zone. When not behind a desk, or at city council hearing, he can be found adventuring with his trusty pup Moose Burrito in the Colorado mountains.

Managing Partner

Ari is responsible for the origination, acquisition, finance & legal aspects of Morgan Stonehill’s pipeline. He enjoys working on every part of the development & acquisition process from concept through disposition.

Prior to founding Morgan Stonehill, Ari founded Stonehill Asset Management and Highline Property Group, through which he acquired, transacted, and dispositioned Real Estate across the Mountain West.

Ari graduated from the University of Denver with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Real Estate Finance. He has an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Boulder, Colorado. Ari lives in Denver and enjoys Mountain Biking, Fly Fishing, and Skiing in his free time.

Partner

Jonathan is responsible for facilitating the company’s finance and portfolio management activities as well as overseeing all of Morgan Stonehill’s back-office operations.

Prior to joining Morgan Stonehill, Prior to joining Stonehill, Jonathan has held similar positions with multiple local and regional development firms where he participated in $750 million in deal volume across multiple asset classes.

Jonathan attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Jonathan is a proud native Las Vegan and continue to reside in Las Vegas where he enjoys spending time with his young family

Partner

Austen is responsible for the execution and expansion of Morgan Stonehill’s development pipeline. From concept through disposition, he is involved in market analysis, feasibility, entitlements, capital raising, oversight of design and construction, and asset management.

Prior to joining Morgan Stonehill, Austen was an Associate Vice President at CIM Group in Chicago focused on a $1.5B pipeline of high-rise multifamily product including the redevelopment of the historic Tribune Tower and entitlement of the future supertall mixed-use tower.

Austen graduated from Villanova with Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Real Estate Finance. He has an undergraduate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of Delaware.

Austen lives in Denver with his wife and yellow lab where they enjoy the active Colorado lifestyle.

Director of Acquisitions, Partner

Mason is a partner at Morgan Stonehill and leads the group's national acquisitions platform which focuses on acquiring existing multifamily properties.

Prior to joining Morgan Stonehill, Mason was a Vice President at The Carlyle Group where he focused on U.S. real estate investment opportunities across various property sectors and geographies.

Mason graduated from Gettysburg College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Finance.

Director of Accounting

Mary joined the Morgan Stonehill team in 2021 where she oversees all of the accounting aspects of this innovative development company. She has over 15 years of comprehensive financial and management experience.

Prior to Morgan Stonehill, Mary was the Controller for various private companies in the areas of consumer lending, retail, and construction. She began her career at a CPA firm in Orange County, CA where she grew as a person and as a professional.

Originally from California, Mary attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Economics. She currently resides in Las Vegas with her husband and adorable daughter where they enjoy spending time with family and off-roading in their side-by-side.

Development Manager - Nevada

Sergio joined Morgan Stonehill in 2021 where he oversees and manages construction activities in the Mountain West Region. Sergio assists with managing drawing development while working with design consultants and contractors from development to construction completion.

Sergio has cultivated his experience for the past 16 years in the field as a superintendent for local GCs, as a Project Manager for a top 3 ENR Ranked national GC and an award-winning development/construction firm. Sergio has overseen various construction types, from Multi-Family to Healthcare, totaling over $150M in hard costs.

Sergio’s education comprises of technical training in Carpentry, an Art Degree from the College of Southern Nevada, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Mgt. from the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering at UNLV.

In his free time Sergio enjoys spending time with his wife, his two young sons, family, and friends. Sergio is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoys fantasy football, craft beer, and whiskey.

Development Manager - Idaho

Chris joined the Morgan Stonehill team in February of 2023. His construction management responsibilities include conceptual estimates for budgeting, working with architects and engineers during the design process, contractor bidding and contacting, and owner's representation during construction through turnover from construction to operations.

Chris is a fifth generation Idahoan and graduated from Boise State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. Prior to joining the Morgan Stonehill team, Chris accumulated over 26 years of post-graduate experience in construction management. Previously, he has been involved in both commercial and multifamily project management on the contractor side. Chris has also been involved in multifamily construction management on the development side. Most recently, he worked for ESI construction on Multifamily projects.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys hunting and being a part of his family's cattle ranch.

Senior Associate

Cody is responsible for supporting partnership with the execution of development activities throughout Morgan Stonehill’s pipeline. Prior to joining Morgan Stonehill, he has gained experience across multiple asset classes in the real estate disciplines of Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Subordinated Debt. He started his career in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Sergeant of Marines serving as an explosive detection Military Working Dog Handler & Trainer.

Cody holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude, from Colorado State University. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of Denver, where he remains actively involved with the university and alumni.

Cody enjoys traveling, skiing, reading, and further exploring his mountainous home state of Colorado with his GSP pup Ranger

Acquisitions Analyst

Brendan grew up on the East Coast and moved to Colorado in 2017 where he attended the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. At Leeds, Brendan earned his bachelor’s degree with a dual emphasis in Real Estate and Finance and graduated in May of 2021.

Brendan’s responsibilities include acquisition underwriting, asset management, investor reporting, due diligence management and execution, as well as a wide range of various other key supportive roles. Since joining the Morgan Stonehill team in August of 2021, Brendan has underwritten hundreds of multifamily transactions and worked closely with the development team on many facets of the company’s several thousand-unit pipeline across the Mountain West.

In his free time, Brendan enjoys Skiing, Fishing, Dirt Biking, and all else that Colorado has to offer.

Development Analyst

Kennedi supports the development team on Mountain West projects at Morgan Stonehill. Her principal responsibilities include market analysis, due diligence, cash flow analytics, and financial modeling throughout the life of each development. She additionally helps with execution of key project reporting and budgeting, while she maintains an emphasis on construction and sustainability practices at Morgan Stonehill.

Kennedi graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Development. She is a Las Vegas native, where she currently lives and spends most of her free time with her horse, Shah.
